Professional actress and theater educator based in Brooklyn, New York.
Originally from Ukraine, Stalina Guberchenko is a professional actress, theater educator, and the founder of Bright Star Acting Studio in Brooklyn, New York. She is a graduate of New York University Abu Dhabi and NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she transferred after two years to continue her professional training at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. Her studies focused on Method Acting, Acting for Film & TV, Character Development, Movement, Voice and Speech, and Stage Combat, guided by renowned theater professionals.
Her stage experience includes Fair Winds and Winds of War at Theater for the New City, The Caucasian Chalk Circle at the NYUAD Arts Center, The Duchess of LES at the Kraine Theatre, Your Faithful Reader at Teatro LATEA, and Kholstomer, Omar Khayyam, and Equus at Essence Theater. She also performed in multiple theater installations at the Abu Dhabi Art Festival and Expo Dubai, bringing immersive storytelling to international audiences.
On screen, Stalina has played lead roles in short films such as Just a Little Longer (shot in Baltimore), Mom Said Always Be Nice (shot in New York), and Snarly Yow (shot in West Virginia). She also appeared in the Ukrainian television series Vskritie Pokazhet and Slipa, and continues to act in commercials, brand projects, and music videos for various companies and artists.
Beyond acting, Stalina has extensive experience teaching and inspiring children around the world. She has worked as an acting instructor, creative director, and theater educator at children’s camps including Suzirya Tauriia (Ukraine), Talentland (New York), and Jugendhaus (Germany), where she developed creative programs that build imagination, confidence, and teamwork through performance.
Fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian, and proficient in German, Stalina brings a global perspective and a passion for storytelling to her teaching. Through Bright Star Acting Studio, she helps every child discover their inner spark, find confidence on stage, and shine in their own unique way.
